Job summary

The Wendy's Company is seeking a Restaurant Technology Engineer to configure, maintain and support POS, self-service kiosks, KDS and related platforms across UK & Europe. You will partner with US technologists, restaurant operations and vendors to implement changes and resolve issues.

Responsibilities include testing, deployment of menu/pricing changes, and ensuring reliable operation for multiple markets. Strong problem-solving and communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting retail, hospitality or QSR technology.
• Hands-on experience with POS, menu, pricing and promotional configurations.
• Experience working with third party technology vendors and support partners.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex technical solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced operational environment.
• Experience supporting Kitchen Display Systems (KDS) and self-service kiosks.
• Experience supporting digital ordering and delivery aggregation.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and optimize restaurant technology platforms, including POS, KDS, kiosks, and related applications, ensuring reliable operation across markets.
• Build and deploy restaurant technology changes, including menus, pricing, promotions, and system configurations, with testing and validation for production releases.
• Support restaurant technology initiatives and business operations, including openings, remodels, and marketing campaigns, while maintaining documentation.
• Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for restaurant technology platforms, resolving configuration, integration, and operational issues.
• Serve as escalation point for Help Desk, mentoring teams and guiding issue resolution.
