Job summary

Preply is seeking a Risk & Reputation Communications Manager to own communications planning and response for emerging issues and reputational risks globally. You will develop messaging, playbooks and centralized resources, working with Legal, Trust & Safety, Product, People and leadership to protect and strengthen Preply’s reputation across markets.

This role sits in Brand and collaborates closely with Corporate Communications & PR.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, issues management, crisis communications or reputation management.
• Proven experience managing sensitive/high-profile communications issues across stakeholder groups.
• Excellent judgment in deciding public responses and messaging.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess and manage emerging issues affecting Preply’s reputation.
• Develop communications strategies for complex/sensitive issues across the business; translate issues into clear external communications.
• Draft responses and build a central library of messaging, FAQs, and Q&As for reputation topics.
• Coordinate responses to emerging conversations across channels and adapt messaging for different audiences.
• Develop crisis communications framework, escalation processes and playbooks; lead simulations and post-incident reviews.
• Monitor media, social platforms and review sites; produce regular reputation risk reports.
