Preply is seeking a Senior Strategy & Operations Manager in London to lead strategic transformation projects, partnering with product, marketing and operations to drive measurable business outcomes.

The role requires 7+ years in strategy/operations, strong commercial acumen and exceptional communication. It offers a hybrid work setup and room to shape Preply’s growth in a global, learner-centered marketplace.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in strategy, operations, or leading cross-functional strategic initiatives.
• Proven track record owning strategic projects or transformation initiatives.
• Strong commercial acumen - understanding marketplace dynamics and monetization.
• Exceptional strategic and analytical thinking with frameworks.
• Outstanding ability to influence across functions and manage stakeholders.
• Excellent executive presence and communication in high-stakes settings.
• AI fluency with practical use of tools to accelerate analysis.
• Action-oriented and resourceful, able to drive decisions with imperfect information.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Based in London or Barcelona, with preference for Barcelona.

Responsibilities

• Own strategic transformation projects end-to-end, typically 3–12 months, with measurable impact.
• Lead cross-functional teams to define strategy, scope workstreams, and drive outcomes.
• Translate ambiguity into clear scopes and action plans; manage parallel workstreams.
• Produce clear, data-backed narratives for leadership and the board, with tailored messaging.
• Present findings and recommendations with confidence in executive forums.
