Rolls-Royce plc in Bristol seeks an Engineering Manager to lead Combat LCE and UK&I Mature Programmes within MRO Engineering, providing technical leadership across lifecycle activities and to the DAOF team. The role liaises with EUROJET and consortia partners to deliver design, service and safety support for critical engine fleets.
The position combines technical leadership, programme management and people leadership, with a hybrid work pattern in Bristol.
We have an exciting opportunity for the Engineering Manager - Combat LCE & UK&I Mature Programmes MRO Engineering in Bristol. In this role, you will provide Engineering leadership to the Combat LifeCycle Engineering (LCE), which provides day‑to‑day technical support for the EJ200 and RB199 engines, for our global customers and operators. You will also lead the team to work very closely with EUROJET, TurboUnion and our consortia partner companies to provide design, service and safety support to these critical fleets. In this role, you will also provide Engineering leadership to the MRO team, which provides effective Product Engineering support to our MRO activities within the Defence Aerospace Operations Facility (DAOF), Royal Wood Group (RWG) in Aberdeen and global test facilities. This team is responsible for the Technical Management of our UK&I Mature Engines portfolio by maintaining our technical baseline and defining the appropriate recovery actions to return our assets to active service. Additionally, the MRO team defines requirements to enable future overhaul operations at prospective overseas facilities, supporting our Win Business strategy.
