Job summary

Flight Centre Travel Group in London seeks a Senior QA Manager to own vision, strategy and execution of quality across a global platform. You will lead through influence, shaping enterprise-wide quality transformation and partnering with senior leaders to embed quality into delivery.

This role builds and scales high-performing teams across geographies, defines metrics, and drives automation and quality gates for production releases, reporting into the Global VP of Quality & DevOps.

Qualifications

• Around 15 years of software quality assurance experience with progression into leadership roles.
• Minimum 5 years leading QA teams.
• Proven ability to build and scale QA in complex multi-product environments.
• Experience embedding quality practices and culture across engineering.
• Strong strategic leadership and change management capability.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders from executive to technical levels.
• Expert knowledge of testing methodologies and quality strategies.
• Experience with test automation tools such as UiPath, Cypress, Playwright.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with quality metrics, governance and reporting.

• Partner with senior leaders on initiatives while owning workstream execution.
• Drive transformation from reactive testing to proactive quality engineering.

• Create career development pathways and succession plans for the team.
• Oversee enterprise test strategy, planning, and execution across the platform.
• Drive automation strategy with ROI and coverage metrics.
• Own release management and quality gates for production deployments.
• Translate quality strategies into executive communications for decision-making.
