Job summary

Huntress - Maidstone is recruiting a Supply Chain & Purchasing Coordinator to join a busy automotive client in Maidstone. You will manage purchasing activities, raise POs with UK and overseas suppliers, and monitor stock levels to meet customer demand.

Working in a collaborative team, you will analyse stock data, coordinate replenishment, maintain supplier relationships, and ensure data accuracy across orders and stock records. Strong Excel skills are essential for reporting and forecasting.

• Experience in purchasing, buying, merchandising or supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities, raising purchase orders with UK and overseas suppliers to meet deadlines.
• Monitor stock levels across product categories and determine replenishment needs.
• Analyse stock reports, historical data and forecasts to ensure availability and demand meet.
• Liaise with overseas suppliers to monitor orders and delivery schedules.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain data across purchase orders, supplier details and stock records.
• Assist with new product set-ups and ongoing product administration.
• Monitor lead times and address potential stock shortages or delays.
