Job summary

Bauer Media Group is seeking a Global Communications Manager for Publishing to turn strategy into high-quality communications plans and content. The role spans four markets, coordinating with local teams to ensure messaging is consistent, timely and engaging.

Responsibilities include planning, content creation, channel management, employee engagement and measurement. Close collaboration with the Global Communications Lead and senior leaders is essential.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in corporate, internal, change or transformation communications within a large, complex and matrixed organisation.
• Proven ability to turn strategic direction into clear, high-quality communications plans and content, working at pace and to deadline.
• Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with experience producing content for multiple channels (intranet, video, newsletters, leadership materials).
• Strong project management and organisational skills, able to manage several work-streams simultaneously.
• Experience working with and supporting senior leaders and stakeholders, including in sensitive situations."
• Comfortable working across multiple markets, cultures and time zones, and collaborating with local communications teams.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategic direction into detailed communications plans, content calendars and channel plans.
• Own day-to-day delivery of communications activity for major strategic and change programmes.
• Project manage communications activity end to end with timelines, content, approvals and channels.
• Flag delivery risks, dependencies or resourcing issues early, with options for resolving them.
• Write and produce leader briefings, intranet articles, Viva Engage content, videos and scripts, newsletters and town hall materials.
