Job summary

Veolia Group, a global leader in environmental services, seeks a Global Senior Purchasing Leader to drive the international procurement strategy for Labwater Solutions. This role requires overseeing a diverse team, optimizing supply chains, and delivering long-term value while collaborating with R&D and operations.

You will influence executive procurement decisions, manage supplier partnerships, and ensure compliance with policies and sustainability goals in a fast-paced, worldwide environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading global procurement or purchasing functions within a complex international organisation.
• Proven track record of developing sourcing strategies, negotiating high value supplier agreements and delivering cost improvements.
• Experience managing international teams and large procurement budgets in a technical manufacturing environment.
• Background in laboratory instrumentation, scientific equipment, medical devices or related industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the global procurement strategy aligned with business objectives and production plans.
• Provide direct leadership to an international purchasing team, fostering collaboration and high performance.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; negotiate strategic agreements for best cost, quality and delivery.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs through supplier consolidation and alternative sourcing strategies.
• Monitor global market trends and adapt sourcing strategies for resilient supply chains.
• Oversee purchasing budget management and data integrity of ERP/MRP system.
