Job summary

Veolia Group, based at Lane End, is seeking a Director - Global Services Labwater to lead our worldwide service organisation within Labwater Solutions. This office-based role includes international travel and senior leadership responsibilities to grow recurring revenue and ensure exceptional customer experience.

You will shape global service strategies, lead UK and international teams, and collaborate with cross-functional leaders to drive service excellence across laboratories and life sciences

Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent advanced qualification.
• Certification in a recognised service management methodology (ITIL).
• Experience leading an international service organisation with a track record of delivering operational excellence.
• Experience within laboratory instrumentation, life sciences, scientific equipment, or a related technical industry.
• Proven success managing international teams, budgets, and service improvement programmes.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience developing profitable service offerings.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Fluent English; full UK driving licence; willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the global service strategy across all regions.
• Provide direct leadership to UK and international service teams, building a high performing global organisation.
• Lead and develop international service teams, including technical support and field service engineers.
• Drive customer satisfaction by monitoring KPIs such as CSAT, NPS, claims management, and SLAs.
• Grow the global installed base and revenue through service engagements and parts.
• Develop new service offerings and digital service solutions.
• Oversee global training programmes via Labwater Centre of Excellence.
• Manage budgets and resources to deliver efficiency and profitability.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Operations.
