Job summary

Verizon is seeking a Presales Solution Architect to join the EMEA team, focusing on enterprise accounts and digital transformation projects. You will build long-term relationships, qualify opportunities, and design complex technical solutions that address business challenges.

In this hybrid role, you’ll collaborate with sales and engineering teams, travel 25–50% as needed, and help position Verizon as a trusted advisor across multinational clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or an IT related subject or relevant work experience.
• Experience as a pre-sales solution architect for a managed services provider with multinational clients.
• Direct interaction with customer stakeholders as part of a sales process.
• Architecting and developing network and cybersecurity solutions for large enterprise customers and responding to RFPs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify business opportunities; develop strategy to use technology to achieve objectives.
• Recommend integration strategies, architectures, platforms and infrastructure for complete solutions.
• Own the technical relationship with Verizon customers; coordinate proof-of-concept work and resources.
• Work with customers to create solutions and use cases leveraging the Verizon portfolio.
• Position Verizon Business as a thought leader on key technological developments.
• Continuously expand technical knowledge to deliver high-quality services and solutions.
• Travel to client sites, conferences and events as required.
