Job summary

Entelect in the United Kingdom is seeking an accomplished Solutions Architect to lead complex enterprise initiatives for global clients. You will shape architecture, guide delivery across SDLC and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and value.

You'll mentor colleagues, engage with senior stakeholders, and deliver cloud-based, scalable solutions using modern frameworks. The role blends hands-on design with strategic leadership in a hybrid office-based setting.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience as a software engineer in an enterprise environment.
• A solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals and commitment to clean code and best practices.
• Broad and deep technical knowledge in your craft.
• Cloud experience in Azure, AWS or GCP. Understanding of cloud native architectures as well as on premise and how they differ.
• Ability to build, architect and design applications within an enterprise environment.
• Mastery of various technologies with the agility to adapt to new frameworks.
• Flexibility to work across a variety of different environments and tooling.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with a drive for continual improvement.
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Passion for delivering well-crafted solutions, systems, and services.
• Hunger to continually improve those around you through mentorship and guidance.
• Pro hybrid working model working from the office on average 2 – 3 times per week.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex, enterprise applications for leading organisations globally.
• Leverage your deep understanding of technology frameworks, when to use them, benefits and pitfalls.
• Engage in SDLC stages from system design to estimation.
• Research innovative technologies and implement them to drive innovation.
• Navigate complexity in enterprise environments and collaborate with a technical audience to define project direction.
• Deliver premium, high-quality code, documentation, diagrams and presentations.
• Be comfortable shaping solutions from the entire toolkit, suspending personal preferences for a balanced outcome.
• Work with Cloud solutions and Cloud Native services in solutions.
• Demonstrate maturity, motivation, and leadership in the workplace.
• Champion change within the team and foster a collaborative culture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tackle complex business challenges, driving continuous improvement.
• Lead and drive technical decision-making within your team.
• Mentor and guide people towards successful delivery and technical excellence.
• Engage with Entelect’s broader management team on industry trends and set benchmarks through client work.
