Job summary

Cambridge University Press & Assessment seeks a Head of Professional Development Operations to lead the end-to-end delivery of our international PD portfolio from our Cambridge HQ. You will align production, trainer recruitment, course management and customer support into a coherent, costed plan and drive scalable operations.

You will set governance, forecast revenue and manage resources across global teams, with 40–60% face-to-face collaboration and flexible working options from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex operations or portfolios across international teams.
• Proven ability to scale programmes while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.
• Ability to translate strategy into resource plans, governance and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of the Professional Development programme, including production, trainer recruitment, and customer booking support.
• Lead revenue forecasting, cost planning and governance to enable sustainable growth.
• Build and develop an integrated Operations function with clear ways of working and accountability.
• Provide inclusive leadership and coaching to senior managers across global locations.
• Establish strong internal and external relationships and manage operational risks and dependencies.
