Talent Sure Recruitment Limited is seeking a Payroll Specialist to own end-to-end payroll across UK and European operations, coordinating with external providers and internal HR to ensure accurate, timely processing.

You will maintain data integrity, perform variance analyses, handle complex calculations, and act as a trusted expert for employee payroll inquiries in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience with deep practical knowledge of UK statutory payroll legislation.
• Proficient in PAYE, NI, SSP, SMP, and workplace pension scheme administration.
• Advanced Excel skills for data reconciliation and variance analysis (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS).
• Experience working with outsourced payroll providers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, process, and validate multi-site payrolls across the UK and Spain.
• Execute PAYE, NI, SSP, SMP, and pension contribution calculations in line with statutory requirements.
• Prepare payroll reconciliations, perform variance checks, and investigate discrepancies prior to sign-off.
• Collaborate with outsourced payroll providers to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve queries.
• Serve as a clear contact for staff, addressing tax, deductions, and pay inquiries.
• Maintain SOPs, assist with payroll reporting, and support process improvement projects.
