Job summary

Catalyst Partners is seeking an International Payroll Specialist to oversee end-to-end payroll for a portfolio of countries, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery.

You will coordinate with external providers and internal stakeholders across HR, Finance and Legal, support country transitions and drive process improvements through data-led insights and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of payroll legislation and social security requirements across jurisdictions.
• Experience with external payroll providers and service-delivery management.
• Strong data accuracy, confidentiality and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll activity for an assigned portfolio of countries, providing support across other jurisdictions as needed.
• Coordinate payroll inputs, validations, approvals and reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Monitor payroll legislation, taxation and local employment arrangements; implement changes where necessary.
• Manage relationships with external payroll providers and support with service quality and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance and Legal to address queries and maintain payroll delivery.
• Support transitions/implementations of payroll services for new countries or employee populations.
• Maintain payroll records with checks, approvals and audit trails.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc payroll reports to support financial controls and decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve payroll technology.
• Contribute to payroll-related projects including system upgrades and policy alignment.
• Provide clear, timely payroll support to employees.
