Job summary

Via, a leading transportation technology company, seeks a Global Head of Payroll to scale payroll operations across the US, Europe, Israel, and other international markets. You will build a high-performing payroll organization, establish scalable processes, and partner with Finance, Legal, People, and Ops to ensure compliant, timely payroll while driving efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive payroll leadership experience with multinational scope.
• Experience leading global payroll teams across multiple countries and regions.
• Strong understanding of payroll taxes, financial controls, and payroll compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Hands-on leader able to dive into operational details when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead global payroll operations across countries and entities, ensuring timely, accurate payroll processing.
• Manage and develop Payroll Managers and payroll professionals across regions.
• Establish scalable payroll governance, policies, and operating procedures that support a growing global workforce.
• Own relationships with global payroll providers, Employer of Record partners, tax advisors, and other payroll vendors, ensuring service quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with People Operations to ensure accurate and timely flow of employee data, including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, benefits, leave programs, equity transactions, and organizational changes.
