Job summary

KX is seeking a Head of Payroll & Expenses (VP) to lead our Payroll, Global Mobility, Travel & Expenses team within Finance. The role oversees payroll for c.400 people across 18 locations, including EOR locations, and will drive the outsourcing model transition with our vendor partners.

The role combines hands-on leadership of a small team with strategic oversight, ensuring accurate, timely payroll and expense processing and strong governance of vendor-delivered services.

Qualifications

• Around 5 years' experience processing payroll across multiple countries and entities, including US compensation.
• Experience in a supervisory or management role, with hands-on leadership of a small team.
• Strong vendor management experience, including supervising outsourced payroll providers and SLAs.
• Good working knowledge of payroll and expenses processing within a multinational environment.
• Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Own vendor and outsourcing management end-to-end, ensuring data quality and timely service.
• Lead payroll-related transition between vendors, including data migration, testing, and cutover.
• Provide hands-on backup for the payroll team during absences and peak periods.
• Oversee travel and expenses processing, ensuring compliance with policy and local laws.
• Coordinate payroll integration for newly acquired entities and cross-functional projects.
