Job summary

Deliveroo is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to join the Global Payroll team. You will oversee payroll across multiple international markets, ensuring on-time, compliant payments and driving improvements to processes and automation.

You will partner with HR, finance and external providers, bring strong statutory knowledge, and act as a senior escalation point for complex payroll queries.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in payroll analyst or senior payroll roles within international organisations.
• Hands-on international payroll experience, with Italy and/or France payroll desirable.
• Familiarity with payroll legislation, statutory requirements and controls.
• Experience managing payroll across multiple countries with third-party providers.
• Strong analytic skills to interrogate payroll data and identify root causes.
• Proven ability to lead projects, automation and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll delivery for international entities.
• Collaborate with HR, People Ops, Finance and Tax to ensure accurate inputs and timelines.
• Review and approve payroll inputs/outputs, flagging discrepancies and risks.
• Ensure compliance across jurisdictions and liaise with external providers.
• Serve as senior escalation point for payroll queries and resolutions.
• Oversee reconciliations, payment validation and statutory submissions.
• Analyse payroll data to identify anomalies and improvement opportunities.
• Maintain payroll governance, controls and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and automate processes.
• Support payroll-related projects, migrations and integrations.
