Job summary

Deel is seeking a Payroll Compliance Analyst to support payroll compliance operations for the UK and regional expansion. You will address payroll tax queries, investigate issues, and help ensure timely, accurate compliance documentation across multiple jurisdictions.

The candidate will bring robust payroll knowledge, hands-on processing experience, and the ability to research and interpret evolving payroll regulations. A Bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of UK payroll rules and legislation experience, with a focus on benefits and pensions.
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and HR policies across jurisdictions.
• Proven ability to lead complex payroll compliance projects with cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on payroll processing experience is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Payroll Compliance team to document country-specific requirements.
• Research local payroll tax laws to support global expansion projects.
• Compile and maintain country-specific payroll knowledge bases and blueprints.
• Provide guidance on payroll tax queries and compliance matters within the region.
• Support client escalations by investigating issues and identifying root causes.
• Draft and review compliance documentation for accuracy and completeness.
