Job summary

Remote is building global payroll infrastructure and seeks a Global Payroll Implementation Specialist to implement new customers on our Remote Global Payroll platform, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

You will report to the Manager, Global Payroll Implementations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize payroll and HR processes across regions and operate largely asynchronously in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• Several years of Global Payroll Implementation experience with statutory tax regulations and payroll processing knowledge.
• Experience with Global Payroll technical implementation setup on local payroll software.
• Excellent understanding of end-to-end Global Payroll and HR processes.
• Experience in payroll operations and statutory requirements.
• Proficient data management with high accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for Payroll customers to set up and provide an accurate transition to Remote’s Payroll products and services.
• Analyze customers’ payroll needs and provide appropriate recommendations.
• Direct and manage the implementation of new customers from start to Go-Live.
• Obtain required payroll data information for new customer setup per legal entity.
• Configure Remote’s Global Payroll system on a customer-by-customer basis.
• Coordinate parallel payroll runs and reconcile wage-based taxes.
• Verify payroll and tax setup complies with regulations.
• Coordinate and communicate payroll Go-Live.
• Hand over accurate payroll to Remote Payroll Operations team.
• Communicate effectively with customers, teammates, and vendors.
• Maintain customer relationships and drive retention.
• Provide training on payroll processes and country-specific needs.
• Ensure timely responses and accurate information for all requests.
• Maintain confidentiality of data.
• Contribute to process documentation and internal improvements.
• Participate in UAT testing through shipping.
