Job summary

Aircall is building a London-based team to lead Global HR Operations & Payroll for its international entities. You will manage a payroll team, optimize workflows, and ensure flawless execution across multiple regions.

The role requires deep experience with global payroll, compliance, and modern HRIS-to-payroll pipelines. As a senior leader, you will drive operational excellence, mentor a diverse team, and partner with vendors to scale quickly in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in global payroll management, with a track record in fast-scaling tech startups or SaaS.
• Experience leading a payroll team and driving operational excellence.
• Strong knowledge of international employment laws and GDPR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Global HR Specialists team, define SOPs, and KPIs for accurate regional payrolls.
• Audit and optimize payroll workflows to scale across multiple entities.
• Oversee end-to-end payroll operations for Aircall's international entities (France, US, Spain, Germany, Australia, and remote via EOR).
• Ensure compliance with global payroll tax laws, benefits, and data privacy.
• Maintain and optimize HRIS-to-Payroll integrations (BambooHR, NetSuite) to minimize manual data entry.
• Govern vendor/EOR performance SLAs with providers like Papaya and Remote.com to enable fast expansion.
• Support statutory audits, year-end filings, and internal controls.
• Understand international employee lifecycle, visa/mobility, and localized benefits management.
• Map processes, create payroll SOPs, and implement internal controls for zero-error execution.
• Navigate cross-border payroll landscapes and country-specific labor laws (US vs Western Europe).
• Knowledge of SaaS equity taxation (e.g., BSPCE, RSUs/NSOs).
• Leverage SaaS/AI tools and data to drive performance and accountability.
