You will bridge site payroll operations with the central team, guiding best practice and ensuring robust controls while driving transformation. The role focuses on acquisitions, TUPE transfers and governance programmes, partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver compliant, efficient payroll services and ongoing improvements in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in senior payroll governance within multi-site organisations
• Experience leading payroll governance, risk management and compliance initiatives
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders across Payroll, HR, Finance and Operations
• Experience with acquisitions, TUPE transfers and transformation programmes
• Strong analytical skills to identify risks and lead audit activities

Responsibilities

• Partner Senior Stakeholder providing oversight and strategic direction across Payroll, HR, Finance and Operations
• Own regional payroll risk, assurance and control frameworks, ensuring compliant and well-governed payroll processes
• Lead the resolution of complex and high-risk payroll issues as the senior escalation authority
• Act as payroll SME for acquisitions, TUPE transfers and transformation programmes
• Shape payroll strategy through audit leadership and governance initiatives that strengthen controls and mitigate risk
