Qualifications

• Experience in a busy payroll environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience using payroll systems, ideally SAP.
• Good understanding of payroll legislation and statutory payments.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain payroll data within SAP, ensuring monthly payrolls are accurate and submitted on time.
• Review payroll outputs and apply adjustments prior to processing.
• Act as first point of contact for payroll and pension queries.
• Calculate SSP/SMP and tax/National Insurance adjustments.
• Process salary amendments, back pay and pay increases.
• Prepare month-end payroll reports, including accruals.
• Support multiple payrolls during peak periods and annual leave.
• Produce ad hoc reports for Group requirements.
• Assist HR/IT with time and attendance system improvements.
