Job summary

Legora is hiring a Global Payroll Specialist to help build and scale payroll as we grow internationally. You will work with our Global Payroll Manager to coordinate monthly cycles across several countries, validate outputs, and ensure compliance with local regulations.

This role focuses on process improvement, external provider coordination, and building scalable workflows rather than processing payroll hands-on daily.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll experience.
• Strong understanding of payroll controls and processes.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Comfortable working with HRIS and payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly payroll cycles across multiple countries.
• Act as a key contact for external payroll providers.
• Make sure payroll is delivered accurately and on time.
• Carry out validations, reconciliations, and checks before payroll is finalized.
• Help ensure payroll follows local regulations and internal processes.
• Support audits by keeping documentation clear and up to date.
• Help build and improve payroll processes as we grow into new countries.
• Create clear workflows and documentation so our ways of working can scale.
• Work with payroll data from HiBob and ensure inputs are accurate and complete.
• Partner closely with HR, Finance, and external vendors.
• Step in as backup to the Global Payroll Manager when needed.
