Job summary

Corpay in London (Moorgate) is seeking a Global Operations Associate to support the Validation and Settlements team in delivering outbound transactions across wires, ACH, EFT, and international markets. You will collaborate with Transaction Services, Validation and Settlements, and other teams to ensure timely processing and data accuracy.

You will participate in the settlement lifecycle, validate data, and help maintain strong relationships with banking partners while training junior associates

Qualifications

• Relevant full-time work experience, ideally in operational roles within fintechs, banks or other financial services companies.
• Exposure to and understanding of global payment formatting requirements (major, minor, and exotic markets).
• Experience with SWIFT banking system, payment processing and payment investigations.
• Degree/ Diploma in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Ability to organize, plan and schedule activities and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills and comfort in dealing with individuals across all levels of the organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fully proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook).
• IT literate with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work independently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Manager and senior management in servicing overall operations with minimal supervision.
• Validating the data input, ensuring that all relevant information has been obtained and local routing requirements are met.
• Participating in the settlement process of spot and forward orders adhering to specific client details in an efficient and accurate manner.
• Overseeing the beneficiary creation and validation process supporting outbound settlements of all global currencies across all delivery channels.
• Ensuring funds reach our global clients and beneficiaries in a timely manner with the highest degree of data accuracy and confidentiality.
• Working closely with internal business units to improve service delivery and workflow efficiency.
• Maintaining strong working relationships with our banking partners.
• Training and support associates on a continuous basis.
• Providing ideas & areas of improvement for further improving the processing standard, providing weekly & monthly MIS.
• Complying with all applicable policies, standards, guidelines, and controls; and adhoc projects as requested.
