Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Product Design leader to oversee the Global Payments Design team, shaping product experiences that enable businesses to sell globally. You will lead a distributed team across EMEA and APAC, guiding strategy, design systems, and cross-functional collaboration with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing.

You will hire, grow, and mentor senior designers, balance speed and craft, and deliver high-impact solutions that scale with Stripe's global reach.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of people management experience.
• 8+ years of relevant design experience at a tech or product-driven company.

Responsibilities

• Lead a growing, business-critical design team distributed across EMEA and APAC.
• Expand the team to meet business demands and employee development needs.
• Partner with Product Management leaders to identify, shape, and prioritize initiatives.
• Work across Stripe teams to deliver holistic solutions for a horizontal product space.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Product Engineering, Marketing, and senior leadership to drive fast decision making and raise the bar for craft and impact.
• Inspire, motivate, and mentor designers across experience levels to do their best work.
