Job summary

Rotork in Bath, Leeds or Manchester is seeking an experienced Global Packaging Lead to steer our international packaging operations. You will drive strategic packaging initiatives, lead a cross-functional team and ensure packaging solutions meet quality, compliance and sustainability goals.

You will collaborate with product development, marketing and supply chain to align packaging with brand positioning while delivering cost efficiency and continuous improvement across markets.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable professional experience in packaging, supply chain management, or related operations field.
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams in a matrix or global environment.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, processes, design principles, and manufacturing capabilities.
• Demonstrated expertise in project management and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Solid understanding of international packaging regulations, compliance standards, and quality assurance protocols.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage global packaging strategies across markets and supply chains.
• Oversee packaging design, materials selection, testing protocols and sustainability standards.
• Lead relationships with packaging suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality.
• Collaborate with product development, marketing and supply chain teams to align packaging with brand and product requirements.
• Drive sustainability initiatives to reduce environmental impact and drive efficiency.
