Job summary

Arcadis in Glasgow seeks an Overhead Line Technical Director to provide senior leadership for OHL engineering in the electrical Transmission and Distribution market. You will own and develop OHL capability, set technical direction and strengthen Arcadis’ reputation with clients and across the industry.

You will lead technical delivery and assurance of major, complex or high-risk OHL projects, establish trusted client relationships, support strategic pursuits and develop people and capability

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng in Electrical, Civil, or Structural engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status or equivalent.
• Extensive OHL experience in Transmission and Distribution projects.
• Strong consultancy, leadership and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership for OHL engineering across UK delivery.
• Lead technical delivery and assurance of major, complex or high-risk OHL projects.
• Establish and maintain technical governance and quality management across teams.
• Develop people and capability within UK and global delivery teams.
• Support strategic pursuits and client relationships at senior level.
