Job summary

Medical Protection Society seeks an experienced operational leader to manage a team across the UK (Leeds and London) and South Africa, delivering day-to-day operational excellence while setting a clear strategic direction that aligns with optimistic future goals.

Qualifications

Experience leading large operational or service-focused teams.
Strategic and commercially minded with ability to balance short- and long-term priorities.
Comfortable working with complex performance data and translating insights into action.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop a multi-location team in the UK and South Africa.
Develop and deliver a clear strategy for Member Support aligned with Operations priorities.
Own performance against service levels, KPIs, quality measures and regulatory standards.
Use data to identify trends and drive measurable improvements, automation and efficiency.
Review processes and operating models to ensure services remain effective and scalable.
Build relationships with senior stakeholders and communicate outcomes at Director/Executive level.
