Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Business Development Manager for the Offshore Wind Global Marine & Navy segment. The role focuses on growing global demand, building strategic customer relationships, and delivering qualified pipeline opportunities across wind segments and related services.

You will influence specifications, coordinate with regional teams, and drive growth through HVAC, fire, controls and lifecycle service solutions, operating across Europe and beyond.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of business development or sales leadership experience.
• Experience in Offshore Wind, Marine, or Renewable energy sectors.
• Proven ability to generate new business and lead complex sales pursuits.
• Experience managing strategic customer relationships across multiple countries.
• Strong strategic selling, account planning and pipeline management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global Offshore Wind growth strategy aligned with GMN objectives.
• Create qualified pipeline opportunities through market intelligence, customer engagement and strategic campaigns.
• Identify early-stage opportunities prior to RFQ issuance.
• Build and maintain a structured pipeline of new build, retrofit and service opportunities.
• Drive opportunity creation targets and support annual growth plans.
• Monitor market trends, emerging technologies and competitive activity.
• Develop relationships with offshore wind developers, EPC contractors, and vessel operators.
• Establish executive-level engagement strategies for priority accounts.
• Influence projects during concept, FEED, design and specification phases.
• Conduct technical workshops and value proposition presentations with customers.
