Job summary

Vestas seeks an experienced Global Offshore Support Field Trainer to mentor Offshore Service Site Technicians during ramp-up phases. You will train on V236 platforms, share lessons globally, and drive best practices across regions to minimize downtime from day one.

In year one you’ll receive Vestas technical training at centers and on V236 sites before placement at new offshore service sites worldwide. Strong leadership and travel readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Completed electrical or mechanical degree from a technical school/college/university (e.g. Marine Engineer).
• Strong English skills both spoken and written.
• Full driving license and willingness to travel globally.
• IT skills including SAP, Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach technicians on operation and maintenance of V236 15MW turbines; mentor and promote OneVestas philosophy.
• Act as key lessons-learned contact; provide feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Support site teams in following Vestas processes for scalable offshore operations.
• Assist with troubleshooting and fault diagnosis of electrical and mechanical systems (on-site and remote).
• Deliver technical/operational training on the V236 platform; onboard and develop new technicians.
