Job summary

Vestas is seeking an experienced Supervisor to lead offshore site operations from readiness through execution across global projects. This role focuses on coaching Site Supervisors and Technicians, ensuring safe and high-performing operations, and embedding standardised ways of working across regions.

The role requires strong technical background in offshore wind, leadership capabilities, and willingness to travel internationally to support new sites and ongoing campaigns.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification, degree, or equivalent industry experience, combined with offshore wind farm ops experience.
• Strong knowledge of turbine platforms (V236, V164/V174) and ability to provide technical guidance.
• Experience in a similar international wind energy, offshore, or service organization.
• Proven leadership and people management skills to coach and develop teams.
• Strong commercial awareness and customer-focused mindset; proactive problem-solving.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication across global teams.
• Eligible and able to obtain work visas globally; regular international travel required.

Responsibilities

• Support service readiness activities up to 12 months before site handover; ensure processes, tooling, spare parts, and training are in place.
• Coach and mentor Site Supervisors, Deputy Supervisors, and Technicians to drive safe, efficient site ops.
• Promote operational excellence by standardising ways of working across sites and regions.
• Provide planning and execution support for turbine recoveries, repairs, service campaigns, inspections, upgrades, and work orders.
• Coordinate resources through SAP including personnel, tools, materials, and vessel planning considering weather and site needs.
• Deliver onboarding and knowledge transfer programmes for new site teams with safety and contractual guidance.
• Act as operational partner to Service Managers; drive lessons learned, workload prioritization, and continuous improvement.
