Job summary

Vestas seeks an experienced Supervisor to lead global offshore service site operations in the UK. You will mentor Site Supervisors and Technicians, ensuring readiness and safe, efficient performance across worldwide sites, aligned with OneVestas principles.

You will coordinate planning, spare parts, and service campaigns with SAP and MS Office, participate in international travel, and drive continuous improvement while upholding contractual obligations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification or degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience with V236, V164/V174, or Eventus platforms.
• Experience in offshore wind operations within an international context.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and a customer-focused mindset.
• Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to travel internationally (up to 180 days per year).

Responsibilities

The New Site Support function is responsible for several critical areas across our global Offshore Service operations, including: Providing early operational, on-site support to new Offshore Service sites worldwide, with a strong focus on ensuring the readiness of Site Supervisors and TechniciansSupporting the Installed Fleet, in collaboration with Technical Operations, particularly in cases involving long-term down wind turbine generators (WTGs), complex faults, and operational recovery effortsDelivering on-site operational mentorship and upskilling in required focus areas across Offshore Service sites.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Support service readiness activities up to 12 months before site handover, ensuring processes, documentation, tooling, spare parts, and training are in place for successful operations
• Coach and mentor Site Supervisors, Deputy Supervisors, and Technicians to drive safe, efficient, and high-performing site operationsPromote operational excellence and the OneVestas philosophy by embedding standardised ways of working across all sites and regions
• Provide planning and execution support for major turbine recoveries, complex repairs, service campaigns, statutory inspections, upgrades, and service work order management
• Coordinate operational resources through SAP, including personnel, tools, materials, and vessel planning, while considering weather and site-specific requirements
• Deliver onboarding, training, and knowledge transfer programmes for new supervisors and site teams, including safety rules and contractual obligations
• Act as a key operational support partner to Service Managers, driving lessons learned, workload prioritisation, daily operational routines, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Technical qualification, degree, or equivalent industry experience, combined with proven expertise in offshore wind farm operations
• Strong knowledge of V236, V164/V174, or Eventus turbine platforms, with the ability to provide technical guidance and operational support
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role within an international wind energy, offshore, or service organisation
• Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coach, develop, and inspire high-performing teams
• Strong commercial awareness and a customer-focused mindset, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
• Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively across global teams
• Eligible and able to obtain work visas globally, with regular international travel expected across regions including the EU, USA, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan.

Your work location will be in anywhere in NCE. You will be required to travel upto 180 days globally for this position.
