Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking an Ocean Export Freight Forwarder to join our Ocean Freight team in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. You will manage end-to-end ocean export shipments, acting as the main point of contact for customers and coordinating with internal and external partners.

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with at least three days in the office and a salary up to £35,000, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in ocean freight operations within freight forwarding or logistics.
• Ability to coordinate end-to-end shipments and provide excellent customer service.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and freight management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end ocean export shipments from booking to final delivery.
• Coordinate transport, including customs clearance when required, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Act as primary contact for customers, handle enquiries, quotes, and claims with a solutions focus.
• Monitor progress, control costs, and ensure accurate invoicing and billing.
