Job summary

Vero HR is assisting a global aerospace supply chain client in Brentwood, UK to recruit a Network Planning Manager. You will shape the planning function, linking Sales, Procurement, Operations, Inventory, and Compliance to meet current and future demand.

You will own network planning, forecasting, inventory strategy, capacity planning, and performance, translating sales forecasts into actionable plans and resource requirements for global operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in network planning or operations planning.
• Strong leadership to develop and mentor a small team.
• Experience building planning models and forecasting processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement network planning strategies to support growth.
• Translate demand forecasts into operational plans and resource needs.
• Lead modelling, optimisation, and scenario planning activities.
• Monitor inbound and outbound volumes across global sites.
• Drive inventory planning, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Create reporting dashboards and performance metrics.
• Analyse data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Sales, Finance, IT, and Compliance.
• Support continuous improvement projects in planning and efficiency.
• Manage and develop a small planning/operational-support team.
