Job summary

Mirion Technologies is seeking an experienced Import/Export Coordinator in Farnborough to manage international shipments and customs compliance, ensuring cost-effective movement of goods. You will coordinate orders, documentations, invoicing and liaise with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders and internal teams.

The role requires strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and proactive problem solving, with exposure to ERP systems and multi-currency invoicing in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Experience in import/export, shipping, logistics or order-processing.
• Knowledge of Incoterms and how they affect cost, responsibility and risk.
• Experience entering orders and raising invoices using an ERP or similar system.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound materials and outbound finished goods with production and delivery schedules.
• Book and manage freight across air, sea, road and rail.
• Track shipments and resolve delays, shortages and customs issues.
• Prepare and check import/export documentation (invoices, packing lists, airway bills, bills of lading, origin certificates).
• Ensure correct application of commodity codes, customs valuations, Incoterms and VAT/tariff requirements.
• Maintain compliance with export controls, sanctions and licensing rules.
