Subsea Technology & Rentals (STR) is seeking a Logistics and Export Compliance Specialist to support ESCA region compliance and manage logistics across Aberdeen, Norway, and Great Yarmouth. You will guide import/export controls, licences, and documentation while coordinating international freight.

The role requires sharp attention to detail, strong communication, and experience in freight processes and offshore rental equipment sectors. A competitive package is offered.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in logistics or equivalent practical experience.
• Good numeracy and literacy (GCE O Level or equivalent).
• Experience in logistics, freight coordination, import/export administration, and customs documentation.
• Knowledge of export control, customs compliance, sanctions requirements, or controlled goods procedures.
• Previous experience with Norwegian logistics is beneficial.
• Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and international courier companies.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy when preparing documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a time-sensitive environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Experience in offshore energy or rental equipment sectors.

Responsabilités

• Act as the ESCA regional export/import compliance SME.
• Assume UK Strategic Goods Control Administrator for STR.
• Support regional export licence applications, management and renewals.
• Escalate potential compliance concerns, licence needs, restricted destinations or unusual requests.
• Maintain asset and product information for logistics and export control purposes.
• Facilitate Goods-In/Good-Out for Aberdeen, Norway and Great Yarmouth bases.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments and arrange collections and transfers.
• Track freight movements and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Support urgent mobilisations and communicate logistics risks early.
• Prepare, review and maintain export/import documentation and declarations.
• Ensure shipments comply with export control regulations and STR procedures.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders on HS codes, origin, and Incoterms.
• Maintain records for audits and compliance reviews.
