Job summary

Mansell Recruitment Group is seeking a proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage international shipments from factory collection through to final delivery. This hands-on role coordinates freight, shipping, customs and deliveries across global markets to ensure shipments are cost-effective and delivered on time with accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in international logistics, shipping or freight coordination.
• Strong knowledge of freight modes and service options.
• Understanding of customs procedures, Incoterms and VAT.
• Ability to compare freight costs and negotiate services.
• Proven ability to coordinate across production, logistics and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate international shipments from collection through to final delivery.
• Obtain and compare freight quotations; negotiate service options.
• Select transport methods based on cost, lead time and project requirements.
• Liaise with production and project teams to confirm dispatch readiness.
• Book, track and monitor shipments; provide clear delivery updates.
• Manage relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, customs agents and suppliers.
• Prepare and check shipping, import and export documentation.
• Identify and resolve delays, customs issues and other logistics challenges.
• Support improvements to logistics processes and supply-chain visibility.
