Job summary

NT Engineering & Manufacturing in Dunfermline is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to own consignments end to end, from dispatch to customer delivery, and to build strong relationships with carriers.

You'll track shipments, manage exceptions, and work with sales, warehouse, IT and accounts while helping establish SLAs and preparing basic customs docs. A proactive, data-driven communicator with Excel skills is ideal.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with data-driven problem solving.
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, lookups, pivots; macros/VBA a bonus).
• Comfortable with freight costs and KPI reporting.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Clear communicator at all levels.
• Proactive, autonomous and able to suggest improvements.

Responsibilities

• Owning consignments end to end, from dispatch through to customer delivery.
• Tracking shipments and managing exceptions, ensuring logging, communication and follow-up.
• Building strong partnerships with carriers and suppliers.
• Working closely with internal teams: sales, warehouse, IT, and accounts.
• Helping establish SLAs with internal stakeholders.
• Preparing shipping and basic customs documentation.
• Supporting the wider logistics team day to day.
