Job summary

Taiko is expanding its logistics team in Acton, UK. You will own all import and export activity, ensure compliance with UK, EU and international trade and food safety regulations, and manage relationships with freight forwarders and customs agents.

You should have proven logistics experience, strong Excel skills, ERP/WMS familiarity, and a continuous improvement mindset; Lean/Six Sigma is a bonus. This role offers growth and impact across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in logistics, import/export or supply chain.
• Strong knowledge of international trade, customs compliance and Incoterms.
• Experience managing freight forwarders, 3PLs and logistics partners.
• Comfortable with ERP/WMS systems and data; Excel skills essential.
• Lean / Six Sigma experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Own all import and export activity—documentation, compliance, freight and delivery.
• Ensure shipments meet UK, EU and international trade and food safety regulations.
• Build relationships with freight forwarders, hauliers and customs agents.
• Monitor shipments, troubleshoot delays and keep operations moving.
• Oversee flow of goods from supplier to production and to customer.
• Collaborate with warehouse teams to improve stock accuracy and efficiency.
• Track KPIs such as delivery time, cost and inventory.
• Support peak periods, product launches and promotions.
• Lead process improvement to reduce waste and boost performance.
• Use data to identify opportunities and drive smarter ways of working.
