Job summary

Munich Re is seeking an experienced Learning & Development leader to own the digital learning strategy for the global Munich Re Academy. You will work with HRIT and Global Learning Operations to optimize the LMS, ensure a great user experience for 16,000 employees, and select learning tools that meet diverse needs.

You will partner with regional academies, define governance, and drive innovation in learning technologies while maintaining compliance and high-quality content across the network.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in learning and development, with a focus on digital learning strategy and technology.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, global initiatives in a heavily regulated environment.
• Proven track record managing and optimizing LMS platforms and e-learning content providers; Experience with SuccessFactors Learning.

Responsibilities

• Own LMS strategy and ensure alignment with MR Academy objectives and HR technology ecosystem.
• Translate learning requirements into system design principles, configurations and implementation guidance.
• Serve as the Global Process Expert to identify LMS enhancements and changes.
• Own self-paced digital learning across platforms (LinkedIn Learning, getAbstract, e-Lect).
• Define reporting principles, data models and integration considerations with Analytics for dashboards.
• Collaborate with functional academies and regions on eLearning authoring tools (Articulate, Knowtion).
• Develop business cases and implement new tools ensuring seamless LMS integration.
• Foster relationships with technology vendors and monitor compliance and standards.
• continuously assess effectiveness and drive improvements in learning offerings.
