Job summary

GSK plc seeks an experienced Head of Oncology Clinical Development to shape the strategy across a multi-tumor asset. The role requires leading end-to-end development, regulatory readiness, and initial market entry, across a global matrix.

You will drive cross-functional collaboration with Research, Medical Affairs and Commercial, while overseeing external engagements and advisory boards to inform asset strategy and portfolio decisions.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD, MBBS, MBChB or international equivalent) required.
• Board certification/eligibility in a primary or medical specialty.
• Oncology drug development experience in pharma.
• Experience leading antibody-drug conjugate or targeted oncology programs.
• Experience holding asset/portfolio level clinical development strategy and governance.
• Strong track record in global regulatory interactions and submissions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end clinical development strategy for an MOA-focused asset across multiple tumor types.
• Lead portfolio governance, risk management and high‑impact external engagements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align research, development and commercial plans.
• Represent the program at governance forums and senior leadership reviews.
• Drive adoption of innovative trial designs and external data sources to inform decisions.
