Job summary

BNY is seeking a Senior Vice President – Global KYC Policy to join the Risk & Compliance team in Manchester. You will act as a subject matter expert on KYC topics, driving policy initiatives and governance across global stakeholders.

You will define clear policy requirements, socialize changes, and provide pragmatic advisory on new products and services, ensuring alignment with risk appetite and regulatory expectations. The role offers exposure to senior leadership and global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering KYC policy content and governance artifacts.
• Proven ability to drive policy initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong judgement in aligning policies with regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert on KYC topics including client due diligence and enhanced due diligence.
• Support the Global Head of KYC Policy in driving policy agenda and governance materials.
• Define policy and control requirements and oversee implementation progress across regions.
• Draft, refine, and publish KYC policy, standards and procedures with clear documentation.
• Socialize policy changes with Compliance, Operations, Technology and LOBs to build alignment.
