Job summary

Ropes & Gray London is seeking a Senior IT Trainer to design and deliver high-impact learning solutions for a global professional services audience. The role combines adult learning with cutting-edge technology to create live and digital training, championing the adoption of AI tools across the firm.

You will lead onboarding, department-specific classes, and skills-based sessions for diverse audiences, leveraging AI for content creation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of training experience in a professional services environment.
• Exceptional learning agility with the ability to rapidly master and teach new enterprise software; knowledge of legal tech (iManage, Intapp, Litera) preferred.
• Experience using AI tools to improve training content creation.
• Self-starter with strong project management skills, capable of meeting tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
• Curious with a positive attitude and commitment to excellent service for internal and external clients.
• Mastery of adult learning principles and the ability to translate complex jargon into user-friendly language.
• Ability to build credibility with diverse stakeholders, maintain confidentiality, and adapt to a fast-changing culture.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, delivering all assigned work to departmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging live and virtual training sessions for U.S. and international audiences, including onboarding and department-specific training.
• Design high-impact e-learning and materials using tools like Adobe Captivate and Camtasia.
• Leverage AI tools to create learning content and accelerate just-in-time resources.
• Promote AI tool adoption and identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks.
• Partner with project teams from kickoff to post-project support, ensuring user-centered design and alignment with workflows.
• Analyze Help Desk data and user feedback to identify pain points and adapt curricula.
• Promote IT Training services across offices and prepare users for upcoming changes early in development.
