Job summary

Jobtailor in Greater London is seeking an experienced IT Helpdesk/Desktop Administrator to support staff across macOS, Windows, and Linux while ensuring GDPR compliance and security standards. You will manage onboarding/offboarding, user accounts, and zero-touch deployment.

You will work with Jira, Google Workspace, Slack, and Atlassian tools, handle hardware inventory, and collaborate with Workplace, Engineering Operations, HR, and Security on cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Helpdesk, Desktop Support, or System Administration.
• Hands-on experience supporting macOS, Windows, and Linux environments.
• Practical experience administering Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian, Okta, JumpCloud, and CrowdStrike Endpoint.
• Prior knowledge of GDPR and information security within EMEA.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, triage, and resolve helpdesk requests in Jira Service Management, Slack, and email.
• Provide acknowledgments and updates within SLAs to end-users worldwide.
• Troubleshoot OS, connectivity, application, and endpoint issues on macOS, Windows, and Linux devices.
• Collaborate with Workplace, Engineering Operations, HR, and Security on office moves, A/V setups, and security enforcement.
• Provision, audit, and de-provision user accounts and application access per onboarding/offboarding policies.
• Document support activities and troubleshooting procedures in Confluence.
• Create user guides and conduct training sessions for non-technical staff.
• Prepare, configure, and deploy laptops using zero-touch workflows; manage inventory and international shipping.
