Job summary

PFF is seeking a Senior IT Engineer and Modernisation Lead to drive the modernisation of our hybrid IT infrastructure across multiple sites. You will take technical ownership of infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity and digital transformation projects while enabling operational efficiency and growth.

Working closely with the IT & Systems Manager, MSPs and operational teams, you will deliver improvements that enhance security, reliability and performance, and you will help shape technology

Qualifications

• 2nd/3rd line IT infrastructure and systems administration experience.
• Strong Microsoft 365 experience including Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint and Defender.
• Experience administering Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Proven experience delivering infrastructure upgrades and migrations.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles including MFA, patch management and vulnerability remediation.
• Experience developing reporting or automation using SQL, Power BI, Python or PowerShell.
• Experience supporting multi-site operational environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the modernisation and continuous improvement of our hybrid IT infrastructure across multiple locations.
• Deliver infrastructure, cloud and workplace transformation projects to improve efficiency, resilience and user experience.
• Administer and optimise Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint and Active Directory.
• Strengthen cybersecurity through effective security controls, vulnerability management and endpoint protection.
• Develop reporting, analytics and automation solutions using technologies such as Power BI, SQL, Python and PowerShell.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support, resolving complex issues and minimising operational disruption.
• Work closely with manufacturing and operational teams to ensure technology supports production and business continuity.
• Manage relationships with MSPs, software vendors and technology partners, ensuring agreed service levels and technical standards are delivered.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes, improve system performance and reduce technical debt.
• Support the development and delivery of technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
