Job summary

Runway seeks an IT Support Engineer to own day-to-day technical support for a globally distributed company. You'd be the first IT contact for employees with requests, device issues, and account problems.

You’ll manage the fundamentals from day one: handling tickets, provisioning laptops, onboarding, and keeping our SaaS stack in order. The role grows quickly into security, infrastructure, and automation as we expand.

Qualifications

• IT support experience in a help-desk or internal IT function.
• Comfort with macOS and ability to troubleshoot issues.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace administration.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN).
• Basic cybersecurity knowledge and policy awareness.
• Strong written communication in a remote setting.
• Self-directed with proactive problem solving.
• Curiosity about how systems work and automation ideas.

Responsibilities

• Handle help-desk tickets: password resets, access provisioning, and general support.
• Manage the device lifecycle: procure, provision, configure, ship laptops; off-boarding.
• Run on-boarding/off-boarding: create accounts and configure security profiles.
• Administer Google Workspace: users, groups, licenses via admin console/CLI.
• Support endpoint compliance and security policy rollout across devices.
• Manage corporate software, license reviews, renewals and access control.
• Support office networking and AV across locations as needed.
• Train employees with lightweight guides and short walkthroughs.
• Write run-books and knowledge base articles.
