Job summary

Transaction Network Services (TNS) is seeking a Field Support Engineer to support the Global IP Desk for Financial Markets. You will handle TCP/IP, VPN and MPLS networks, perform hands-on Cisco/Arista/Juniper configurations, and coordinate with TAC on incidents for on-site support in Manchester.

Ideal candidates bring ITIL certification, strong communication, and NOC experience, with familiarity in financial market data and exchange protocols. Join a 24x7 team providing reliable service.

Qualifications

• TCP/IP, VPN, MPLS and routing knowledge across multiple protocols.
• ITIL certification and experience with incident management.
• Experience with NOC environments and customer support.
• Experience in financial markets or exchanges is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for global TCP/IP, VPN and MPLS networks (OSPF/BGP/EIGRP/RIP/IS-IS).
• Hands-on config and troubleshooting of Cisco, Arista and Juniper devices.
• Coordinate with Cisco/Juniper TAC and escalate as needed.
• Second-level network troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• Manage change and maintenance activities per policy; on-call support.
