Job summary

Nexperia Manchester is seeking an Industrial Director to lead all industrial activities across the Business Group. This high-impact role offers broad exposure to senior leaders and requires aligning industrial strategy with ambitious growth plans.

You will develop and mentor cross-functional teams, drive Front-End and Back-End strategies, manage S&OP, capacity, and capital expenditure, and work with External Manufacturing to improve supplier performance in a high-volume semiconductor environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Proven leadership, project management, and people management including senior stakeholder management.
• Extensive experience in industrial planning and high-volume manufacturing, preferably in semiconductor wafer fabrication.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities for fast, sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and influence at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead industrial activities across the Business Group and report to the Head.
• Develop and mentor cross-functional teams of Industrial, Test, and Supply Chain professionals.
• Define and execute Front-End and Back-End industrial strategies aligning with product, technology, and R&D roadmaps.
• Support New Product Introduction activities ensuring industrial roadmaps align with product and tech roadmaps.
• Partner with Product Groups to provide industrial input on capacity allocation, escalations, and strategic topics.
• Lead the S&OP process driving demand and supply planning and execution.
• Manage factory loading and industrial planning across wafer fabrication, assembly, and test operations, optimizing capacity.
• Drive capacity expansion, cost reduction, and yield improvement initiatives with defined KPIs.
• Collaborate with External Manufacturing to lead transfer programs and improve supplier performance.
• Oversee CAPEX planning, approvals, and expenditure tracking to align with priorities.
• Develop industrial market intelligence for MOSFET technologies to support strategic decisions.
