Job summary

Nexperia Manchester is seeking an experienced Senior Equipment Engineer to lead and coordinate the maintenance of specialist semiconductor equipment across Implant and Etch technologies. This hands-on, senior role focuses on equipment reliability, maintenance standards and technical improvement, working with shift engineers to resolve complex repair issues.

• Strong fault-finding to component level.
• Experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead equipment maintenance programs across Implant/Etch technologies.
• Diagnose complex equipment issues, identify root causes and perform repairs.
• Coach and mentor junior engineers in maintenance and fault diagnosis.
• Create and maintain procedures for checks and maintenance activity.
• Drive continuous improvement and cross-shift support.
