Pfeifer is seeking a highly organised Customs & Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Southampton. You will coordinate import/export customs clearances, manage freight movements and support stock control to ensure compliant, efficient operations.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will gain experience across different transport modes while contributing to day-to-day business processes in a busy logistics environment.

Formación

• Experience handling import and export customs clearances.
• Experience using CDS, DESTIN8 and/or NCTS.
• Knowledge of customs procedures and Incoterms.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A high level of attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Process import and export customs declarations.
• Coordinate road freight shipments from booking to delivery.
• Prepare and maintain accurate customs and shipping documentation.
• Complete and reconcile Postponed VAT Accounting (PVA) records.
• Liaise effectively with customers, suppliers, hauliers and customs authorities.
• Support stock control and inventory administration.
• Update ERP/SAP systems and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with customs legislation and company procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
• Develop knowledge of sea freight and other transport modes.
